The new year so far can be summed up in a single word – wet. January was, for much of the country, the wettest since records began.

But don’t let the weather rain on your (fashion) parade. It’s time to wave away the storms in your waxed jacket, pull on some wellies and twirl your brolly.

If nothing else, splish-splashing through puddles is a sure-fire way to lift your spirits.
