The Queen, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, Carole and Michael Middleton all visit the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's new son
Prince Charles and Camilla rushed to London by helicopter, following two-days of carrying out official duties in Yorkshire, to meet Baby Cambridge - just before he left the hospital.

They stayed for half an hour and with Prince Charles saying the baby was "marvellous" as they departed.

The Duchess's parents Carole and Michael Middleton were the first to visit the little Prince at St Mary's Hospital this afternoon. Upon leaving the hospital Mrs Middleton described Baby Cambridge, her first grandson and the future king, as 'absolutely beautiful'.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge left St Mary's Hospital on Tuesday evening. Afer introducing their newborn son to the public, Prince William drove his family back to Kensington Palace. There they were joined by the Duchess' sister Pippa Middleton, along with her boyfriend Nico Jackson, who was said to be thrilled to meet her new nephew.

The Queen, who is to travel to Balmoral for her summer holiday on Friday, spent 30 minutes with the Duke, Duchess and Baby Cambridge at Kensington Palace this morning. Prince Harry also visited his nephew before the proud parents left Kensington Palace again – to stay with the Middleton family in Berkshire.
