Literary Lunch on 26 November


Once again, The Lady is delighted to announce the much-anticipated Literary Lunch date. On Tuesday 26 November 2013, we invite you to a drinks reception followed by a three-course luncheon. Spend the afternoon listening to our featured authors, mingle with new-found friends and come away with signed books in your very own The Lady goody bag. This event takes place in the beautiful surroundings of the Caledonian Club in London’s historic Belgravia. Previous lunches have sold out extremely quickly, so book a ticket now to secure your place.
 

THE AUTHORS

CECELIA AHERN was catapulted into the spotlight with her hit debut novel, P.S. I Love You, which was adapted into a major movie. Her books have an addictive, escapist quality that have won her a loyal fan base around the world. How To Fall In Love is her new novel.

EDWARD MARSTON has been a full-time writer for more than 30 years, working in radio, ­ film, television and theatre. A master of historical ­ ction, he is the author of various crime series, including the hugely successful Railway Detective novels. His new Home Front Detective series is set in London during the First World War.

BEN HATCH is the author of comic novels, whose latest book is called Road To Rouen: A 10,000 Mile Journey In A Cheese-­ lled Passat. His previous book, Are We Nearly There Yet? 8,000 Miles Round Britain In A Vauxhall Astra, was a Radio 2 Book of the Year, became a Number One bestseller and is currently being made into a movie by Island Pictures.

Tickets cost £85 and include a drinks reception, a three-course lunch, including half a bottle of wine, tea and co— ee, talks by our guests and signed copies of each author’s featured book.
