BEST IN SHOW…

Scores of you entered our pet portrait competition – and the results are in. Meet Wilma, Roadie, Earl and some of your other beautiful best friends
Last month, we asked you to send in pictures of your favourite pet – to win the opportunity to have their likeness captured by celebrated pet portraitist Fiona Scott. Well, the entries came pouring in – and what a handsome lot they proved to be. From cats and dogs to llamas, donkeys, even owls, readers of The Lady clearly love their pets.

But there could be only one winner and, after much deliberation, Fiona picked terrier Wilma, owned by Catherine Beavis of Cheshire. The owners of runners-up Roadie and Earl, meanwhile, will have the opportunity to choose a signed print from Fiona’s website. There were many other gorgeous contenders, too many to include, but we have printed some of them here. Is your beloved pet among them?
