This exhibition at the Contemporary Applied Arts Gallery (CAA) is showing how some of our best designers (including artisan potter Janice Tchalenko) collaborate with large corporations such as John Lewis, Heal's and overseas design companies. Also exhibiting are Wales&Wales (furniture), Helen Yardley (rugs) and Ptolemy Mann (textiles).

LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL
The Victoria and Albert Museum has always been a showcase for the best in design. This year's festival has a programme of activities, talks and workshops. Special installations include Prism, Keiichi Matsuda's stunning sculptural and digital installation in the entrance hall. Outside the museum there will be an exhibition of benches made by designers working with Established & Sons, the company founded by Sebastian Wrong, which seeks out and manufactures work by some of this country's most talented craftspeople.

CERAMICS IN THE CITY
East London's Geffrye Museum specialises in the history of the English domestic interior, with a permanent display of furnished period rooms from the past 400 years. It is also hosting Ceramics In The City, a selling exhibition of work by 50 potters, to be accompanied by free workshops and demonstrations.
