Celebrate HM the King’s Coronation with teaware fit for royalty
Regal Peacock caught the eye of royalty when it launched in 1913. Presented to Queen Mary on a visit to the Potteries: a refreshed copper engraving was produced a century later and continues to be one of their most iconic collections, alongside Asiatic Pheasants and Calico. Regal Peacock comes decorated in blue, black or green. HM King Charles has close ties to Burleigh and is a genuine admirer of this luxury British brand. The company has gifted him bespoke pieces over the years and produced several exclusive collections inspired by the royal gardens at Highgrove. His multiple visits to the historical site, as founding patron of The Prince’s Regeneration Trust, have always proved to be exciting times for Burleigh craftspeople.
The home of Burleigh, Middleport Pottery is the UK’s last working Victorian pottery, where you can book a factory tour to see Burleigh’s famous tissue transfer technique and visit the factory shop. Burleigh have been proudly making earthenware in Stoke-on-Trent since 1851.

Garden of Kings from the Moorcroft Coronation Collection
It is a well-known fact that His Majesty King Charles III is an avid champion of delphiniums, with his own beloved Highgrove gardens holding these towering kings. And so it is with this Moorcroft design, complete with a monde-topped lid from Moorcroft designer Kerry Goodwin. The commanding presence of the delphinium blooms soar up the side of this lidded pot, a shape not released since the Coronation of King George VI in 1937, with erect racemes of corneyed, azure-to-pimpernel-blue flowers, rising over Highgrove itself. Moorcroft has created art pottery commemoratives since the Coronation of Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1902. Each piece of Moorcroft is handmade from start to finish using heritage skills that date back to the 17th Century.
